Grand Launch: v1.0.0 (October 21, 2026)

Servers were down from 6:00 to 11:00 AM PDT, and Nexon extended Cash Shop items by 5 hours to cover the downtime. Highlights for players:

  • Windia expanded to 40 channels. Free Market Rooms 12โ€“20 added.
  • KPQ added to Channels 8โ€“12. The launch notes list KPQ on Channels 3โ€“12. The Companion's Magic Box from KPQ gives fewer gem and rare ores now, but can drop a Lakelis Statue housing decoration.
  • New content: The Murky Swamp II near Kerning City, new Victoria Island quests, and new drops on some monsters.
  • Higher potion drop rates for monsters between level 10 and 30.
  • Field boss respawns made more random.
  • Stagger threshold corrected (it had been set too low) on Copper Drake, Tortie, Drake, Red Drake and Wild Kargo.
  • Skill changes: Swordsman HP recovery from items +5โ€“20% โ†’ +20โ€“50%. Iron Body Weapon DEF +5โ€“25% โ†’ +20โ€“40%. Magician MP recovery from items +5โ€“20% โ†’ +10โ€“25%. Dark Sight now shows the user as semi-transparent to all players. The live skill data matches the new values (Improved HP Recovery up to +50%, Iron Body +40% Weapon DEF, Improved MP Recovery up to +25% at max level).
  • Bug fixes included Final Attack lasting 30 seconds instead of 60 for some jobs, Poison Breath consuming MP twice, and 2nd job advancement failing (and eating the quest item) with a full Use inventory.
  • Megaphones need level 15 (up from 10). Megaphones already in your inventory before launch keep the old requirement.
  • Quality of life: Rates Info button on probability items in the Cash Shop, equipment bonus stats shown in the Character Stats window, an option to always show item names in English, and Beauty Album slot expansion.

Founder's Access patches (October 2026)

October 8 (unscheduled, 7:00โ€“9:00 AM PDT): the Coconut sell price dropped from 145 mesos to 10 mesos. Cleric's Heal range had been wider than intended and Heal could be cast without enough MP; both were fixed. A connection issue on Channels 1โ€“4 was also fixed. Cash Shop items were extended 2 hours.

October 15 (minor patch, 8:00โ€“11:00 AM PDT):

  • Korean (Beta) added as a display language. Chat now only accepts characters supported by English, Spanish and Korean, and Megaphones stay English-only.
  • A Maple Administrator was added to Kerning City, and the Kerning City map was adjusted so the Civic Center is easier to reach.
  • Gameplay fixes: Bandit Steal could trigger drops and buffs even on a miss. Monsters killed by damage over time (burn, bleed) gave double EXP and drops. Boss monsters could be knocked back by some skills. 100% scrolls couldn't be used because of the "Lucky Day effect". Pets ignored stackable Etc. items when your inventory was full.
  • Store Permit fixes: you could open an invisible shop under Dark Sight, and unsold items didn't return right away.
  • Several client disconnects fixed (Arrow Bomb, Poison Breath, trade cancels, Heal near Zombie Mushrooms in the Ant Tunnel).
  • Cash Shop items were extended 3 hours.

Closed Online Test #2 (August 2026)

The second test ran August 4 to August 13, 2026. It added the airship to Ossyria (Orbis, El Nath, Dead Mine) from August 8, with 3rd job at Lv. 70. None of that is in the live game: Nexon held Ossyria and 3rd job back for a rework (see Orbis and El Nath in Classic World). From August 11, testers could set a character to Lv. 100 to try 3rd job skills. Citizenship debuted for Lv. 12+ and KPQ opened at Lv. 21+.

  • Aug 6, known issues: Hired Merchants were disabled because equipment lost stats when a shop closed. Safety Charms were consumed on deaths in town.
  • Aug 7 (3:30โ€“5:30 PM PDT): Hired Merchants fixed and re-enabled. Affected stats were restored, except on items that had been scrolled or traded. The Safety Charm and ranged knockback bugs were fixed.
  • Aug 10 (3:00โ€“5:00 PM PDT): fixed an item duplication bug and a bug where EXP sometimes wasn't lost on death.
  • Aug 11 (4:00โ€“6:00 PM PDT), mobility skill rework: cooldowns cut, MP costs raised. Rush cooldown 3 โ†’ 1 second. Flash Jump (Hermit, Chief Bandit) cooldown 3 โ†’ 0 seconds. Arrow Rain and Arrow Eruption cooldown 5 โ†’ 0 seconds. Wind Step and Evasion Step 3 โ†’ 1 second. Assaulter usable while jumping. Invincibility after taking damage raised from 1 to 1.5 seconds. A Magic Armor Lv. 8 bug that cost 68 MP instead of 10 was fixed, and so was Dragon Blood draining 99% HP on channel change.

Closed Online Test #1 (April 2026)

The first test ran April 16 to April 24, 2026, with Early Access from April 14. It covered Maple Island and Victoria Island, 1st job at Lv. 10 and 2nd job at Lv. 30, plus the new Crafting system. KPQ was Channel 1 only, but several parties could run it at once.

  • Apr 17 (5:00โ€“7:00 AM PDT, unscheduled): KPQ and 2nd job quest monsters made easier to hit for some jobs. Iron Hog spawns adjusted on Pig Beach. Arcforge Gem Processing cost adjusted. Player Shops could now be closed with ESC. Nexon also recommended Windows 11 because of client crashes on Windows 10.
  • Apr 21, content update: [Event] Beyond the Unknown (Lv. 15) and an early test of Forgotten Hollow (Lv. 15, via Manji). Test Cash Shop items were priced at 100 Leaf Points. Forgotten Hollow is now set to open in November (what we know).

Test progress didn't carry over. Nexon was clear that items, progress and Cash Shop purchases from the tests wouldn't transfer to launch.
