Live Free Market Scanner

Shopping in the Free Market anyway? Share your game window here and every shop you open is read automatically and added to the Windia price index. The reading happens on your computer; only the shop rows are sent.

How to use it

  1. Open this page on a computer (Chrome or Edge), with MapleStory Classic running.
  2. Click Share your game window and pick the MapleStory window.
  3. Walk into the Free Market and open shops as usual. When a shop window is on screen, its rows are read; scroll the list to read the rest.
  4. Keep the shop window fully visible: chat or a tooltip on top of a row can hide it. A bigger game window reads better than a small one.
  5. Click Stop (or stop sharing) when you're done.

How the prices are counted: a row seen greyed out (sold) is a sale at the printed price; any other row is an asking price, and the two are never mixed. The same listing scanned by several players, or rescanned the same day, counts once.

FAQ

Is it safe? Does it touch the game?

It only looks at your screen, the same way a recording or a stream does. It never sends keys or clicks to the game and never reads the game's memory. Nothing is installed: it's a web page.

What gets sent?

Only the shop rows it reads: item, price, quantity, whether it was sold, and the shop owner's name and shop title. The video itself stays on your computer, and we don't store your IP address.

Why is a row not showing up?

A row has to read the same in two frames before it counts, and the item name has to match an item in our database. Long names cut off with "..." only count when they can only be one item. Keep the whole shop window visible and give each page of the list a second.

Which browser?

Chrome, Edge or another Chromium browser on a computer works best. Share the MapleStory window (not a single tab). Phones can't share a game window.

Can I scan a recording instead?

Yes: pick a video file under the Share button. It's read the same way, also on your computer.
