Grind Session Tracker

Is this map actually good, or does it just feel good? Start the timer, note your level and EXP, grind, then enter where you ended up. You get your real EXP per hour, how long the next level takes at that pace, mesos per hour and kills per hour, and every session lands in a history so you can compare maps.

1. Start

0:00:00

2. Now / end

Main monster (optional, for kills/hour)

Enter your start, hit Start session (or type the minutes), then fill in where you are now.

How it works

  • EXP gained = your current total EXP minus your starting total, both counted from level 1 with the game's EXP table, so level-ups mid-session are handled.
  • EXP per hour = EXP gained ÷ session hours. The timer runs in your browser; or type the minutes yourself.
  • Time to next level = EXP left on your bar ÷ EXP per hour.
  • Kills per hour = EXP per hour ÷ the monster's base EXP.

Caveats: the tracker only knows what you type. A death costs EXP (see death and EXP loss) and shows up as a lower rate; quest turn-ins and party bonus push it up. Level 100 is the cap. Use the EXP calculator to plan longer stretches.

Looking for a better map? Where to train, level 10–30, 30–50 and 50–70.

FAQ

How is EXP per hour worked out?

Your start and current level + EXP are both turned into total EXP from level 1 using the Classic World EXP table, so sessions that cross a level-up count correctly. EXP gained divided by the hours played is your EXP per hour.

Should I enter EXP % or the exact number?

Either. The percentage on your EXP bar is quicker; the exact EXP number (hover the bar in game) is more precise, which matters at higher levels where 0.01% is a lot of EXP.

How does kills per hour work?

It divides your EXP per hour by the picked monster's base EXP from the game data. For example, 20,000 EXP per hour on Orange Mushrooms (15 EXP each) is about 1,333 kills an hour. If you also killed other monsters or got bonus EXP, the real kill count is lower.

Where are my sessions saved?

In your browser only (localStorage), up to the last 50 sessions. The running timer survives a refresh too. No account, nothing uploaded.

Does it count party EXP or quests?

It counts whatever EXP you actually gained, so party bonus and quest turn-ins inflate the rate. For a clean grinding number, don't turn in quests mid-session.
