Classic World Game Data Changelog
This is what changed inside the MapleStory Classic World game files, client build by client build, from the first closed test in April 2026 to the Oct 22, 2026 patch. The latest build (Public Release patch · Oct 22) added 1 entry, removed 0 entries and changed 1 entry. The big one is Grand Launch: 569 entries added, 230 removed and 299 changed between the last Founders Access build and the Public Release client. Every number below is read from the files; we don't guess why something changed.
Founders Access, Grand Launch and after
Counts read +added −removed ~changed. NPCs are counted from the map data (an NPC placed on or taken off a map).

Closed Online Tests
Test clients from before Founders Access. Progress from these didn't carry over to launch, but they show how the game's data took shape.

How this works: each row compares two archived game clients entry by entry (matched by the game's own IDs) and counts what was added, removed or changed. Dates are the dates the builds were archived, which can sit a day before the matching maintenance. Server-side data (drop rates, event switches, spawn timers) isn't in the client, so it never shows up here. For Nexon's own notes and maintenance times, see the Classic World patch history; for a level-by-level look at skills, see skill changes from the test to launch.
FAQ
What changed in the Classic World game files at Grand Launch?
Between the last Founders Access build and the Public Release client (dated Oct 20, 2026 in the files), 569 entries were added, 230 removed and 299 changed, including 17 new monster entries, 30 new maps, 27 new quests and 11 changed skills. The full list is on the Grand Launch page.
Is this the same as the official patch notes?
No. Official patch notes are Nexon's summary. This changelog compares the game files themselves, so it also lists quiet changes like reworded quest text, sell prices and map links, and it can't see anything that only lives on Nexon's servers (drop rates, events switched on server-side, spawn timers).
Why do the test builds show thousands of changes?
The closed online tests ran on early clients. The jump to the next test and then to Founders Access rewrote a lot of data (Cash Shop lists, game text, equipment stats), so those diffs are huge. Progress from the tests didn't carry over to launch.
When will v1.1.0 show up here?
Classic World updates to v1.1.0 on October 29, 2026. Once the new client is datamined and its diff is published, we rebuild this page and the new build appears at the top.
Why does a name have no link?
We only link entries that have a page in our database, which covers what's live in Classic World right now. Test-only, removed or hidden entries (event maps, house interiors, unused monsters) are listed as plain text.
