MapleStory Classic World Grand Launch Is Live: Dates, Times and What Changed

MapleStory Classic World is officially live. Grand Launch went out on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at 11:00 AM PDT (6:00 PM UTC / 8:00 PM CEST). It's available through the Nexon Launcher and Steam.

What changed at Grand Launch

Nexon took the servers down for about 5 hours (6:00 to 11:00 AM PDT) to install version 1.0.0. Among the changes:

• Windia expanded to 40 channels
• Free Market Rooms 12 to 20 added
• Kerning City Party Quest added to Channels 8–12 (KPQ now runs on Channels 3–12)
• Stumpy joins the boss list (Founder's Access notes listed five bosses, the Grand Launch notes list six), and field boss respawn times were made more random
• Megaphone level requirement raised from 10 to 15
• Cash Shop item durations extended by 5 hours to cover the downtime
