Return scrolls are easy to get in Classic World. Per community shop lists (shop prices aren't in the game data), every town grocer sells Return Scroll - Nearest Town for 400 mesos, and each town's own store sells the scroll back to that town for 500 mesos (Sleepywood's is 600). Several level 8 to 10 quests and Shumi's first subway jump quest also hand them out free, and The Journey Begins check-in event gives 5 on day 5.
Quick answer: Buy Nearest Town scrolls at any grocer (400). Buy a specific town's scroll at that town's store (500, or 600 for Sleepywood). Free ones: Olaf's Second Training, the level 10 town quests, and Shumi's Lost Coin at 35 (23 scrolls).
Shop prices
| Scroll | Price | Sold by |
|---|---|---|
| Return Scroll - Nearest Town | 400 | Every grocer below, plus the 24 Hr Mobile Store in Ant Tunnel Park |
| Return Scroll to Lith Harbor | 500 | Mina, Lith Harbor Department Store |
| Return Scroll to Henesys | 500 | Luna, Henesys Department Store |
| Return Scroll to Ellinia | 500 | Len the Fairy, Ellinia Department Store |
| Return Scroll to Perion | 500 | Arturo, Perion Department Store |
| Return Scroll to Kerning City | 500 | Dr. Faymus, Kerning City Pharmacy |
| Return Scroll to Sleepywood | 600 | Mr. Sweatbottom, Regular Sauna |
Shop stock and buy prices aren't in the game data; both community shop lists we checked agree on these prices, so treat them as community-reported until you see them in game. Whether citizenship discounts apply to return scrolls is disputed; see the potions and consumables guide. Everything else each shop sells is in the NPC shops guide.
Selling them back is a loss: NPCs pay 200 for a Nearest Town scroll, 250 for most town scrolls and 300 for Sleepywood.
