From October 28 to November 18, 2026, Orange Slimes spawn inside four towns: Henesys, Ellinia, Kerning City and Perion. Characters level 10 and up can kill them for Halloween Candies (for Malady's quest) and three tradable Malady's Candies that heal 600 HP, 450 MP, or 300 HP + 300 MP.
Quick answer: Oct 28, 12:00 AM UTC to Nov 18, 11:59 PM UTC · Lv. 10+ · Spawns in Henesys, Ellinia, Kerning City, Perion · Drops: Halloween Candies (untradable, expires with the event), Red Malady's Candy (600 HP), Blue Malady's Candy (450 MP), Green Malady's Candy (300 HP + 300 MP).
When and where
| Start | October 28, 2026, 12:00 AM UTC |
| End | November 18, 2026, 11:59 PM UTC |
| Level | 10 and above |
| Towns | Henesys, Ellinia, Kerning City, Perion |
It runs alongside Malady's Halloween Candies event, and the two are meant to be played together. For everything else running at launch, see the launch events overview.
Orange Slime stats
Nexon's post doesn't list stats. These come from the Classic World launch game data:
| Stat | Value |
|---|---|
| Level | 20 |
| HP | 1,855 |
| EXP | 64 |
| Weapon Attack | 86 |
| Accuracy | 85 |
| Avoid | 6 |
| Aggressive | No |
Don't let the level fool you: 1,855 HP is a lot of HP for a level 20 mob. A regular Slime is level 6 with 115 HP, and a Green Mushroom (Lv. 14) gives 26 EXP for 233 HP. Per point of HP, Orange Slimes give roughly a third of a Green Mushroom's EXP. You hunt them for the drops, not the EXP. They aren't aggressive, though, so a level 10 character won't get mobbed walking through town.
What they drop
| Item | Trade | Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Halloween Candies | Untradable, expires Nov 18, 2026 11:59 PM UTC | Counts toward Malady's 100-candy quest |
| Red Malady's Candy | Tradable, permanent | Recovers 600 HP |
| Blue Malady's Candy | Tradable, permanent | Recovers 450 MP |
| Green Malady's Candy | Tradable, permanent | Restores 300 HP and 300 MP |
Drop rates aren't published, so we can't tell you how many slimes a stack of candy takes.
Are Malady's Candies worth keeping?
For a low-level character, yes. Compare them with Classic's shop pots:
| Potion | Heals |
|---|---|
| White Potion | 500 HP |
| Red Malady's Candy | 600 HP |
| Blue Potion | 200 MP |
| Blue Malady's Candy | 450 MP |
| Cake | 100 HP + 100 MP |
| Green Malady's Candy | 300 HP + 300 MP |
A Red Malady's Candy out-heals a White Potion, and a Blue one more than doubles a Blue Potion. They don't expire, so they're worth saving for bosses or tough training spots later on. Because they're tradable, you can also sell extras in the Free Market once the event ends and supply dries up. For more on pots, see our potions and consumables guide.
Tips
- Combine with the candy quest. Every Orange Slime kill can push your Halloween Candies count toward 100 without leaving town. Per Nexon, any monster level 10 or above can drop Halloween Candies during the event, so your normal training spot works too; the slimes are just the in-town option.
- Don't vendor Malady's Candies. Their NPC sell price in the game data is 1 meso each, so they're worth far more used or traded.
- Expect company. These spawn in the busiest towns, so you'll often be sharing them with other players. Be polite about KS, and change channels if a town is packed.
- Candies expire, Malady's Candies don't. Hand in your Halloween Candies before November 18, 11:59 PM UTC. The healing candies stay.
