Here is everything Nexon shipped with the Grand Launch on October 21, 2026 (version v.1.0.0), in one place.
The basics
- World: Windia, expanded to 40 channels at Grand Launch.
- Level cap: 100.
- Jobs: Beginner, plus 1st job at level 10 and 2nd job at level 30. See the job advancement guide.
- Regions: Maple Island and Victoria Island. Perion has a newly added area called the Excavation Site.
- Characters: up to 3 per account.
Bosses at launch
Nexon lists six bosses you can challenge:
Founder's Access had five of them. Stumpy was added at Grand Launch, and field boss respawn times were made more random.
Party quest
The Kerning City party quest "First Time Together" is open to characters level 21 and up. Talk to Lakelis in Kerning City. It ends with a fight against King Slime. Nexon's release notes say it runs on channels 3 to 12.
New systems in Classic World
- Citizenship (level 12+): become a citizen of Henesys or Kerning City for shop access and discounts.
- Housing: once you're a citizen at Visitor grade or higher, buy a home in Henesys (Bianca) or Kerning City (Scarlett) with mesos. You can own one home at a time, and it's shared by every character on your account.
- Crafting (level 10+): six crafting disciplines, each with its own NPC.
- Beauty Album: save hair, face and skin presets and switch back to them later.
- Lie Detector Test: a tool citizens can use on suspected bots. Characters who fail it are sent to the Truth Booth.
What's not in the game yet
- Forgotten Hollow: Nexon says the area opens in November. No exact date yet.
- 3rd job and more regions: not in the launch notes. Nexon says these "may be introduced sequentially".
Rules worth knowing
- New accounts can't trade until 24 hours after a character on the account reaches level 15.
- Megaphones need level 15 (raised from level 10 at Grand Launch).
- Bans are shared: an account banned in MapleStory is also banned in Classic World, and the other way round.
