Every NX you spend on selling is NX you're not turning into mesos. At the best rate of about 18 mesos per NX, a 1,500 NX Super Megaphone costs you about 27K mesos, and a Store Permit costs the same. So: one permit, no megaphones for normal items, and price against what actually sold, not what's listed.

Quick answer: Buy one Regular Store Permit (1,500 NX, 12 items, 90 days). Price 1 to 2% under the lowest active listing, never below the recent sale price. Stay at your shop during busy hours. Expect to keep about 97% after the fee players report.

Which permit

PermitItems listedNXCosts you in mesosBuy it if
Regular Store Permit121,500~27KAlmost always
Pink or Fall Store Permit183,000~54KYou sell a full shop, week after week

Twelve slots hold a lot of skills and scrolls, so the extra 27K rarely pays you back for NX selling. The launch event also handed out a free 7-day Regular permit on check-in days 4 and 12, so use that first if you still have it. More in our Free Market guide.

Your shop stays open only while your character sits at it. There are no Hired Merchants, so selling takes your time as well as your NX.

How to price

  1. Look up what it sold for, not what it's listed at. Listings are wishes. Our price page separates sales from asking prices.
  2. Check the shops. Walk a few rooms and find the lowest active listing.
  3. List just under it. You only need to be the cheapest one a buyer finds. Going 10% under gives away 8K on an SP Reset for nothing.
  4. Skip the round number. Most of the prices we see in shops end in 999 for a reason: 84,999 reads cheaper than 85,000.
  5. Don't sell below recent sales unless the timer forces you. Crates have 7 days; reset scrolls don't have that pressure.

What your sale really nets

Players report a 3% fee on store sales; Nexon hasn't published it, so treat it as likely, not confirmed.

Selling in a trade window with a buyer you found in chat may skip the store fee, but we haven't tested that and it's a scam risk for bigger amounts. Check the meso amount before you press Trade, every time.

Megaphones

A Super Megaphone is about 27K mesos of NX. On a 45K pet skill, that's over half your sale. On an 85K scroll, it's about a third. It only makes sense on something worth several hundred thousand, like a Cat Soul at about 480K, where a world-wide shout finds the one buyer you need. For anything else, sit in the market and let buyers come to you.

Help the price page

If you shop in the Free Market anyway, run our live scanner on your game window. It adds what you see to the price index, so the next person pricing a crate has fresher numbers, you included.
