How to Get the Icarus Cape in MapleStory Classic World

The Icarus Cape comes from Delivering the Flying Medicine, a level 46 quest from Wing the Fairy in Ellinia that you turn in to Icarus in Kerning City. It's the last link of a long chain that starts with I'm Bored at level 11, so the earlier steps have to be done first. The reward is one random cape: Green, Yellow or Blue, each equally likely. No shop sells it.

The three capes

All three need level 46, have 5 slots, and share +21 W.DEF, +9 M.DEF and +3 accuracy. The color decides the bonus:

None is class- or gender-locked. NPC sell price is 11,280 mesos for each. If you roll the wrong color, trading is your only fix: the quest isn't repeatable.

Prep tips

• Do steps 1 to 4 early. They're cheap at 11 and 31, and they gate the cape at 46.
• Processed Wood is a Woodcrafting material: Woodcrafting level 1 makes one from 10 Tree Branch for a 100-meso fee, or level 2 from 5 Firewood for 200 mesos. • Medicine With Weird Vibes is left by Wraiths, per its item text. Jane's alchemist quests also eat 50 of them, so farm extra if you're doing both. See how to get Power Elixirs.
• Witchgrass Leaf: its item text says it grows in the swamps, but drop source not in the game data, and it's a quest item, so you can't buy it from other players. The swamp maps around Kerning City are the obvious place to look; that's unverified.
• Tablecloth is "donned by a Jr. Wraith", per its item text (Jr. Wraiths swarm Line 2 <Area 1> and Line 1 <Area 2> in the subway). The game data names no source for Alligator Skin Pouch or Stiff Feather.
