Can You Reset AP and SP in MapleStory Classic World? Yes, With Cash Shop Scrolls
Yes. Classic World has an AP Reset Scroll and an SP Reset Scroll in the Cash Shop, 7,000 NX each. Both are full resets: the AP scroll resets all your stats (including AP you put into HP and MP), and the SP scroll resets all your skills except Beginner skills. Neither one changes your job.
Quick answer: AP Reset Scroll, 7,000 NX, usable from level 10, resets every stat. SP Reset Scroll, 7,000 NX, resets every non-Beginner skill. The Convenience Essentials Pack has one of each plus extras for 9,900 NX, once per account, NX only.
The two scrolls
| AP Reset Scroll | SP Reset Scroll | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | 7,000 NX | 7,000 NX |
| What it resets | All stats, including AP in HP/MP | All skills, except Beginner skills |
| Level to use | 10+ | Nexon doesn't list one |
| Duration | Permanent | Permanent |
Veterans, note the difference. In old GMS you moved AP one point at a time. Classic World's AP Reset wipes the whole spread in one go, so you redo every stat after using it.
The cheaper way: Convenience Essentials Pack
If you'll want both resets at some point, look at the Convenience Essentials Pack before buying the scrolls separately. Nexon lists it at 9,900 NX (crossed out from 42,000 NX), and it contains:
- 1 SP Reset Scroll
- 1 AP Reset Scroll
- 1 Selective 5-slot Coupon (adds 5 slots to one inventory tab)
- 10 Safety Charms (as exchange coupons, 90-day duration)
- 10 Super Megaphones (as exchange coupons, 90-day duration)
The catch: once per account, NX only (Leaf Points can't buy it), and the pack and everything in it are untradable. So it can only help one of your characters with its resets.
When a reset makes sense
- You misplaced AP as a Beginner. AP doesn't reset when you take 1st job, so a point spent in the wrong stat at level 5 follows you. The scroll works from level 10, right when you advance. Allocation basics: starting stats and AP.
- You picked up a skill you regret. Some community class guides plan around a reset on purpose, for example leveling a Thief through 1st job with Lucky Seven and then respeccing into a dagger build after becoming a Bandit. That's a build choice, not a requirement.
- You want to change job. A reset won't do it. Advancements are permanent. See can you change your job.
Is there a free reset?
We haven't found one. Nexon's notes list no meso-based AP or SP reset, and the community databases we checked only mention the Cash Shop scrolls. If an in-game option turns up, we'll add it here.
