Nella's Kerning City Requests Quest Guide (Lv. 10): Steps, Work Gloves and Rewards

Nella & Kerning City Citizen's Request is a three-step chain from Nella in Kerning City, open at level 10. You gather materials for three townspeople (Don Hwang, Shumi and Andre), and the chain pays 564 EXP, 1,053 mesos, Lemon ×15, Return Scroll to Kerning City ×2, Cake ×20, Work Gloves.

Quick answer: Nella, Kerning City, Lv. 10+. Step 1: 20 Orange Mushroom + 20 Ribbon Pig kills, 10 caps, 10 ribbons. Step 2: 25 Dark Stump kills, 15 Leaves. Step 3: 30 Octopus kills, 20 Octopus Legs, 1 Pure Water. Final reward: Work Gloves (Lv. 10, 6 W.DEF, +1% critical rate, 5 slots).

Before you start

The quest log says you pay Nella a 1,000-meso commission when you sign up for her jobs, so have it on you.
Start hunting for 1 Pure Water early. It's the slowest part of step 3. See where to get Pure Water.

Walkthrough notes

Don Hwang's Request: the armor shop owner wants mushroom caps and pig ribbons. Orange Mushrooms and Ribbon Pigs both live on the road between Henesys and Kerning, so you can do the kills and the drops in one trip.
Shumi's Request: Shumi wants a dog house for her new puppy. The log has you bring the 15 Leaves to Nella.
Andre's Request: the hair salon assistant wants seafood soup. Octopus are at the construction sites around Kerning City. Bring everything to Nella.
Nella's later jobs continue at level 22 in Nella & Kerning City Citizen's Other Request. That chain needs Andre's Request done.

Where to find the monsters

Victoria Island only (the boat off Maple Island is one-way). Spawn counts per map from the game data, densest first:

Orange Mushroom (Lv. 8): Mushroom Garden (15), Henesys Hunting Ground III (11), Kerning City Middle Forest III (10), 3-Way Road-Split (9)
Ribbon Pig (Lv. 10): L Forest I (21, one Iron Hog Lv. 28 also spawns), The Forest East of Henesys (11), A Hill West of Henesys (10). For step 1 in one map, The Forest East of Henesys has Ribbon Pig ×11 and Orange Mushroom ×6.
Dark Stump (Lv. 11): West Domain of Perion (21), East Rocky Mountain IV (17, mixed: Dark Axe Stump Lv. 23), West Street Corner of Perion (14), East Rocky Mountain III (14), The Field South of Ellinia (13)
Octopus (Lv. 12): Damp Forest (15), Caution Falling Down (12), Northern Top of Construction Site (12), Kerning City Construction Site (10). The construction sites are the closest to Nella.

Total rewards

Reward	Across the whole chain
EXP	564
Mesos	1,053
Guaranteed items	Lemon ×15, Return Scroll to Kerning City ×2, Cake ×20, Work Gloves

Work Gloves stats: Lv. 10, 6 W.DEF, +1% critical rate, 5 upgrade slots, wearable by any class.

Is it worth it?

Yes, mainly for the Work Gloves. A 5-slot glove you can wear at level 10 is the one reward here that lasts. The rest: 564 EXP across three steps (188 each) is about a third of a level at 10 (1,716 to level), plus 1,053 mesos, less than the 1,000-meso commission the log says you pay, plus 15 Lemons, 20 Cakes and 2 Return Scrolls to Kerning City. If you can't find Pure Water, steps 1 and 2 still pay out, but the gloves are locked behind step 3.
