How to Get Pink-Flowered Earrings in MapleStory Classic World

Pink-Flowered Earrings come from one quest: John's Last Present, the third and final run of John's Deep Forest of Patience chain in Lith Harbor. Every step starts at level 65, and you have to finish the two earlier John quests first. It's the only quest in the game data that rewards them; shop stock and drop tables aren't in the data, so no other source is confirmed.

Quick answer: Level 65, talk to John in Lith Harbor. Bring him 10 Pink Viola, then 20 Blue Viola, then 30 White Viola, all gathered inside the Deep Forest of Patience (reached through the Mysterious Statue in Sleepywood). The third turn-in gives the earrings.

The earrings

Stat	Value
Required level	60
Class	All (no gender lock)
M.DEF	+44
Critical damage	+5%
Upgrade slots	5
NPC sell price	22,500 mesos

The +5% critical damage is the reason people grind three jump quests for it. You can wear it from 60, but the quest only opens at 65.

The three John quests

Step	Quest	Bring	Reward besides EXP/mesos
1	John's Pink Flower Basket	10 Pink Viola	30 Screws
2	John's Present	20 Blue Viola	Gloves for your class
3	John's Last Present	30 White Viola	Pink-Flowered Earrings

Each step pays 25,900 EXP and 2,032 mesos: 77,700 EXP for the three, about 4.9% of a level at 65 (1,579,913 to level). John's own quest text says the flowers are found through the Mysterious Statue in Sleepywood, which takes you into the Deep Forest of Patience jump quest. The route, the maps and what to expect are in our jump quests guide.

Step 2's gloves are worth having too

John's Present gives level 60 gloves by class (Beginners get level 10 Work Gloves instead):

Class	Gloves
Warrior	Dark Clench
Magician	Dark Manute
Bowman	Dark Garner
Thief	Steel Pow
Beginner	Work Gloves

All four class gloves have 5 slots and +3% critical rate, so they're a natural home for a Gloves Attack scroll.

Frequently asked questions

What level do you need for Pink-Flowered Earrings?

The quests start at level 65. The earrings themselves need level 60 to equip.

Can I skip to John's Last Present?

No. It requires John's Present, which requires John's Pink Flower Basket.

Where are the Violas in MapleStory Classic?

Inside the Deep Forest of Patience. John says the Mysterious Statue in Sleepywood takes you there.

Can you buy Pink-Flowered Earrings?

Shop stock isn't in the game data and we haven't confirmed any NPC selling them. John's Last Present is the only quest source, and it isn't repeatable, so extra pairs only come from trading.

Do Pink-Flowered Earrings drop from monsters?

Drop tables aren't in the game data, so no monster source is confirmed.
