Walkthrough notes
- Step 1: Bruce wants his daughter Ayan to open up to him. Go ask Mrs. Ming Ming (also in Henesys) for advice; the step completes with her.
- Step 2: Mrs. Ming Ming suggests a homemade dish and gives you her recipe to deliver to Bruce.
- Step 3: Bruce needs the ingredients: 15 Firewood, 3 Eggs, 3 Apples and 3 Oranges. The quest log says you can get them from monsters or buy them at the town's general store. Drop tables and shop stock aren't in the game data, but Firewood's own item description says it comes from an Axe Stump (Lv. 17; densest spawns: The Forest North of Ellinia 13, East Rocky Mountain II and III 12 each).
- Step 4: take Bruce's Special Cake to Ayan in Perion.
- Step 5: carry Ayan's message back to Bruce in Henesys.
