Ronnie & the Fairies Building a New House is a 4-quest material run from Ronnie in The Tree Tunnel At the Forest Up North, open at level 41 after Mr. Wetbottom's Secret Book. Each step sends you to a different hunting zone for two monster drops. The chain pays 34,680 EXP, 5,204 mesos, 90 Blue Potions, three kinds of stat potions and, at the end, a random Shoes Speed Scroll (Intermediate or Greater).

Step-by-step walkthrough

Every step also asks for 50 kills of each monster, so you'll usually have the drops before the kill count, or the other way round. Keep hunting until both are done.

Spawn counts per map from the game data, densest first. Three steps have a map where both monsters spawn together:

• Step 1: Hunting Ground in the Deep Forest II (Horny Mushroom ×16, Curse Eye ×20, plus Lupins).
• Step 3: East Rocky Mountain VII near Perion (Fire Boar ×20, Copper Drake ×22).
• Step 4: The Tunnel That Lost Light I, deep in the Ant Tunnel (Cold Eye ×32, Drake ×20).

The quest text gives the zones: the Kerning City subway for step 2, around Perion for step 3 and the deep Ant Tunnel for step 4. Drakes are level 50, nine above the chain's gate, so step 4 is the one to come back to later. Dragon Skin has no quest or crafting source in the game data and drop tables aren't in the data; its description ("a dragon's skin") points at the Drake family, unverified. The Diamond is the same gem Rowen wants in the Secret Book chain: Arcforge level 6 refines one from 1 Diamond Ore for 1,200 mesos, otherwise buy one.

Is it worth it?

For EXP, yes, if you're passing through these zones anyway. Our take assumes you're not going to buy the materials:

• Four steps at 8,670 EXP each: 34,680 EXP, about 11% of a level at 41 (324,240 to level).
• The stat potions (Magic, Dexterity and Warrior Potions, 5 each) are handy for bosses.
• The finale is the weak part: a Shoes Speed Scroll, either 60% for +2 Speed or 10% for +3. Nice, not essential.
• The Diamond in step 4 is the costly item. If you don't have one, the first three steps are still worth finishing.
