A fresh Fighter trains on Line 1 <Area 1> or Forest Up North IV at 30โ€“34, moves to the Ant Tunnels for the late 30s and early 40s, The Burnt Land in the late 40s, then Monkey Forest and The Forest of Evil II from 50 to 70. Once your accuracy catches up, the Kerning Subway Wraith maps are the densest on-level option on Victoria Island.

Why so "low" at 30? Accuracy. A community sample level 30 Fighter build has 73 ACC. Jr. Wraiths (level 34, 25 avoid) need 82 ACC for a 100% hit rate at equal level, and 95 when you're four levels under them at 30. Every miss still costs MP, so the safe picks below stay on mobs you never miss.

Fighter map picks, level by level

These are a community training calculator's results for a sample two-handed axe Fighter build with Power Strike, Final Attack off. Every pick is a 100% hit rate, and every spawn dies in two Power Strikes or fewer even on your weakest roll. We dropped its EXP-per-minute estimates (a model, not a measurement) and added each map's spawn count from the game data; where the model calls two maps a near-tie, the denser one is listed first.

Notes: the model's Ant Tunnel picks were Ant Tunnel II (35โ€“39, with III a near-exact tie) and Ant Tunnel Park (40โ€“44, with Deep Ant Tunnel II about 2% behind). Deep Ant Tunnel I wasn't in its top two, but it holds the same three mobs at higher density, so we list it alongside the Park. The Burnt Land I and III are the model's picks; V is denser but its Lupins (Lv 37) have a magic attack. The calculator's danger scale: under 10% of your HP per hit is Safe, 10โ€“24% is Caution. Maladies (M.ATK 311) and Zombie Lupins (M.ATK 242) both carry magic attacks in the data, which is why The Forest of Evil II rates Caution. Another Path is the safer, quieter alternative in the 60s, but it's 18 maps from Sleepywood.

The densest on-level maps once you can hit them

Spawn counts from the game data. These are the maps a Fighter should graduate to once accuracy and damage allow (a piercing or multi-target skill isn't needed; density just means less walking between kills):

The subway wins on density: 83 Jr. Wraiths on Line 2 <Area 1> against 26 Fire Boars on The Burnt Land V, and Line 2 <Area 2> is the densest map on Victoria Island. It pays once you're 47โ€“48 and can two-shot Wraiths without missing (104 ACC at level 48).

Accuracy check before you move

The single biggest reason a Fighter stalls is moving to a map where Power Strike misses. ACC for a 100% hit at equal level, from each mob's avoid in the game data and the community hit-rate formula our database uses (add roughly 3 to 4 per level you're below the mob):

Mob (level)ACC for 100% hit
Jr. Wraith (34)82
Lorang (38)79
Zombie Lupin (41)95
Wraith (48)104
Croco (52)101
Malady (55)108
Wild Kargo (62)117

Sword Fighters get a shortcut here: max Sword Mastery adds +20 Accuracy (Axe Mastery gives a bleed instead). Accuracy potions help too: the item data gives the Sniper Potion +5 ACC for 10 minutes and the Supreme Sniper Potion +7 ACC for 15 minutes. Use one only if it actually closes the gap to 100%.

Fighter-specific tips

  • Final Attack loves small packs. Fighter's FA hits up to three mobs (skill data), so it adds about 12% damage when Slash Blast is hitting one to three mobs, by community math. Turn it off on single-target maps.
  • Rush to group, then Slash Blast. Rush hits and knocks back up to six mobs, which is exactly Slash Blast's target cap (both 6 in the skill data).
  • Watch the refill walk. Ant Tunnel Park looks great but sits 11 portals from Mr. Sweatbottom in the training calculator's results. Buy enough Lemons before you go down.

Past level 60: Victoria Island runs thin

Victoria Island has few maps built for the 60s. Dangerous Valley II is the only Red Drake (Lv 60) map, with 17 Red Drakes on a 20โ€“60 second respawn. The skeleton camps past the Excavation Site are on-level but 12โ€“14 maps from Perion: Camp 1 (20 Skeleton Soldiers, Lv 57, 111 ACC) and Camp 3 (14 Officer Skeletons, Lv 63, 120 ACC). Wild Kargos (Lv 62, 14 on Wild Kargo's Area) respawn every 120 seconds and Tauromacis (Lv 70) come 2โ€“4 per map on 60โ€“120-second timers. The usual advice: stay on The Forest of Evil II, Sleepy Dungeon V or the Wraith maps. Orbis and El Nath aren't in Classic World yet, so there's nowhere else to go for now.

Build and skill details live in the Fighter guide. For levels 10โ€“30 see the Warrior 1โ€“30 guide.

Frequently asked questions

Where should a level 30 Fighter train?
Line 1 Area 1 (64 Bubblings) or Tree Dungeon, Forest Up North IV (Green Mushrooms) until your accuracy is up. A sample Fighter build has 73 ACC at 30, and Jr. Wraiths need 95 at that level.
When can a Fighter go to the Kerning subway?
Once you have about 82 ACC for Jr. Wraiths (level 34) or 104 ACC for Wraiths (level 48) at equal level, more if you're below them, from the mobs' avoid in the game data.
Is The Burnt Land good for Fighters?
Yes. A community training calculator calls The Burnt Land V the best non-subway map at 31โ€“35 for Warriors, and picks The Burnt Land I at 45โ€“49 for Fighters.
Where do Fighters train at level 60 in Classic World?
The Forest of Evil II is a community training calculator's top Fighter pick from 55 to 70. Another Path is safer but far from potions.
Should I use Final Attack while grinding as a Fighter?
On maps where Slash Blast hits two or three mobs, yes. On single-target farming, turn it off.
